Recently we found Calla Lily and Ranunculus flowers at the local market.
I did the Ranunculus in a previous blog but decided to do abstracts of both the Calla Lily and Ranunculus flower.
I used a Bausch & Lomb Petzval lens (it has a cooke triplet lens configuration).
Shot at F5.2 wide open, it produced a beautiful soft smokey image with just enough definition at this exposure.
I may have to do more of these soon.
